Zuzana Plšková

Zuzana is origninaly from Brno (also know in Czech as Velká díra) where she did her Bachelor and Master degrees at Mendel University in Brno. During her Bachelor project she studied redox signalling to chromatin and worked on developing mass spectrometry methods for quantification of histone marks. In her Masters she investigated the role of important histone acetyltransferase in redox signalling using proteomics and metabolomics tools.

After she graduated in Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology in June 2023, she worked as a research assistant and project manager of CropPrime and spent four months at VIB-PSB.

She is currently making a PhD in the Pogson Group - Chloroplast to nuclear signalling: light, drought and carotenoids (https://biology.anu.edu.au/people/students/zuzana-plskova).
